The most famous depiction of a “Cinta Senese pig DOP” was relized by Ambrogio Lorenzetti in his “The Allegory of Good and Bad Government” (1338), in the Town Hall of Siena.
Many other representations of white-belted pigs appear in paintings and frescoes
of the twelfth century in the countryside of Siena.
